With the addition of the Apex Community to our education portal comes a certain about of trust in you, the end user. We trust you to be responsible. The thousands of other users of the Apex site and courseware respect that trust. Here are some common-sense rules that will help you steer clear of trouble and take full advantage of every cool feature in the Apex Community.
Apex Community is not for explicit content. If this describes your materials, please don't post it on the Apex Community.
While the Apex Community is intended as a platform for our users to expand our education platform, and while some images may be completely legitimate for medical education, (such as a trauma, cadaver lab, or childbirth), we would prefer that you don't post images of a graphic nature.
Respect copyright. Only upload materials that you have created or that you are authorized to use. This means don't upload materials you didn't make, or use content that someone else owns the copyright to, such as snippets of copyrighted programs, materials made by other users, or images from texts or PowerPoint programs without necessary authorizations.
Okay, this one is more about us than you. Apex Innovations staff will review all uploaded materials on a daily basis to be certain that the content meets our Community Guidelines. If for any reason, they fail to meet the spirit of the Apex Community, we will remove them. Sometimes content meets our Community Guidelines, but may not be appropriate for everyone. Content of this nature may be restricted as a non-public or non-sharable item.
Remember that this is your community! Each and every user of Apex Community makes the site what it is, so don't be afraid to dig in and get involved!
Have fun with the site. There's a lot to see here, and lots of folks are adding great materials.
Please let us know what you think. Feedback is an extremely important part of the Apex Community. The more suggestions we receive the bigger and better the Community can grow the education experience for everyone. As Apex continues to expand the functionality and adds tools to the Community, you'll have the opportunity to meet and make new friends, discuss any number of topics, and stay current with guidelines, clinical pathways and share your experiences.
